100% owned by Mexicans, with more than 470 employees and seven warehouses located strategically in Mexico Country in order to serve the dealers in the fastest possible way, SYSCOM stocks more than 18,000 SKu’s delivering and shipping 99% of all of the orders the same day.
7 years ago, SYSCOM obtained the ISO 9000 Certificate in all of its process and is audited biannually by Perry Johnson Registrars from Michigan USA. SYSCOM also requires ISO 9000 from its suppliers.
SYSCOM policy is to purchase directly from the manufacturers (not Distributors, not Reps), and prefer long term relationships. SYSCOM has been growing together with most of its suppliers, more than 650 located worldwide.
SYSCOM experience almost no personnel turnover and has a very intensive internal training program (more than 12,000 hours – employee per year). Additionally, SYSCOM has a team of 95 Engineers and Technicians who travels to the different factories located in the USA, Canada, the UK, Israel, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China and Mexico, to verify the quality processes and to learn about the products. These Engineers are highly specialized in different technologies (RF propagation, GPS, TCP/IP, WLAN, GPRS, Alarm Systems, Control Access Systems, RF Circuits, Digital Video, etc).
In order to cover the South American market, SYSCOM owns an American company (EPCOM) located in El Paso, Texas, with branches in Miami, FL. and San Diego, CA. Also owns partially EPCOM CHILE located in Santiago.
SYSCOM attends the main international trade shows as exhibitor, like IWCE and ISC in Las Vegas, ASE Americas and others in Miami, APCO International, ASIS, EXPOCOMM and some others in Mexico City, Santiago, Caracas, Sao Paulo, Bogota, and many other Cities.
SYSCOM is always looking for the total satisfaction of the end user. To reach this objective, it maintains a continuous training program during the year, which is performed by its own Engineers. Dealers and their employees travel to Chihuahua City at least once a year and stay for one week. They are trained and updated in the products, technologies, hardware and software. In this issue, SYSCOM has a strong experience and a very important “know how”. At the end of the courses, they have exams. There are many kinds and levels of different courses. Dealers are classified in different groups and levels (almost 30 different classifications). So they are allowed to buy only items from its category, depending of its knowledge and business infrastructure. Also, when an end user calls, he is directed to the closest dealer with the right profile.
SYSCOM designs and print its own two catalogues, edited quarterly each, for a total of more than 200,000 copies a year. Those are also used by EPCOM in South America.
There is a Security Catalogue which includes Closed Circuit TV, Alarms and Access Control. (180 pages).
And there is a Radio Communication catalogue which includes Two Way Radios, Wireless (WLAN), Antennas, Towers, Coax Cables, Sirens and Bar Lights, Emergency communication controllers and consoles. (270 pages).
Surveys show that most of the Latin American Technology Dealers have at least one SYSCOM Catalogue not older than one year.
SYSCOM headquarters are located in Chihuahua, a very important Mexican city, two hundred miles south from the U.S border and very well communicated to the rest of the country and to the United States, through air and very good highways.
